Harvest on Fort Pond
Considered the best all-around dining experience in Montauk (and arguably on the whole East End of Long Island), the Harvest has much to offer. Enjoying a drink in the sunset lit herb garden set alongside Fort Pond is usually a good place to start. Then make your way over to a table in the main dining room, next to a wall of open glass windows overlooking the water. Order anything on the menu, but make sure to bring a couple friends or family members because otherwise, you might not make it to dessert. Zagat calls it a Montauk “jewel” with “incredible food” and a “serene setting”, but we say it’s worth finding out for yourself.
